The Lyceum Club has a limited number of accommodation rooms. Under exceptional circumstances, one room for one night may be provided for the Guest Speaker and their accompanying guest. This will be charged.

Dress code

We ask that you adhere to the Lyceum Club dress code, where you may not wear jeans, sports shoes or thongs in the Club rooms. In the evening, men are requested to wear a jacket/coat. Though a tie is optional for men, it is preferred.

Products for members to purchase

You are welcome, as a Guest Speaker, to offer products of relevance to the event for purchase by attending Lyceum Club members.

A table will be provided for you to set up your product(s) (e.g., book, video, photographs, artefacts, etc.) and any decorative items/advertising items that you wish to bring on the day. It is the responsibility of the Guest Speaker to ensure they have the stock available on the day and to provide all other material that is required for purchase on the day (e.g., price lists, product descriptions, decorative items). An order form with price(s) of the product(s) will be provided by the Lyceum Club and available for members to write their names on and take the product. The Guest Speaker is to provide the order form to Reception after the event and the Lyceum Club will invoice the member accounts directly for the price of the books and pass on the proceeds (once received) to the Guest Speaker. Please note that the Lyceum Club reserves the right to remove products that are deemed unsuitable for purchase from the Lyceum Club.
