DESCRIPTION:Thursday 20 November 2.00pm, lunch at 12.30pm\nSpeaker: Russell Huntington\nSubject: Cycling in China\nRussell Huntington recently led seventeen enthusiastic members of the Melbourne U3A cycling group to China. They spent two weeks cycling, starting in Shanghai, which included the Bund, they then cycled 100kms inland to Wuxi travelling through some picturesque villages and countryside. Finally, to the Yangtze Delta where they rode the circumference of Tai Hu Lake, the largest lake in China. It was a total trip of 500kms, travelling 40kms to 60kms a day. Russell will show us the breathtaking scenery, and tell us the stories of the physical challenges, interesting accommodation and the various culinary experiences this adventure presented.\n
