DESCRIPTION:Monday 25 August at 9.30am for coffee, walk from 10.00am\nCollins Street Art & Architecture Walk\nCollins Street has always been a mirror of Melbourne’s developmental change. This special curated walk, starting in Docklands and concluding at the Club, will highlight more recent and surprising architectural and artistic developments along Collins Street. The walk will be led by a well-known tour leader and cultural historian, Kenneth Park, and will involve some tram travel. Dramatic architecture, art and new public spaces – come and see how Collins Street is evolving.\nMeet at 9.30am for a coffee at Saluministi, 892 Bourke Street, Docklands. To get there, take tram No. 48 or 11 in Collins Street to the terminus in Docklands where Collins Street intersects with Bourke Street (true!) You will see Saluministi on this corner. After coffee, we will meet our guide in the foyer of the Library at The Dock, where we will commence the tour at 10.00am. We will ramble east along the length of Collins Street to Swanston Street, where we will finish the tour at 12.00pm. Members can then depart or proceed to the Club for lunch.\n$35.00 for tour charged to your account. Coffee and lunch at own cost.\n
