DESCRIPTION:Friday 27 June at 10.30am\n\n\nSpeaker: Rev Dr Aaron Ghiloni, Honorary Senior Research Fellow in Religion at the University of Queensland and a Research Fellow of the Trinity College Theological School ( Trinity College University of Melbourne)\nHe is the author of Islam as Education, John Dewey Among the Theologians and editor of a recently published comparative religion textbook.\nDr Ghiloni  is to speak on “ Flies on a Fishbowl:  Christian Attempts to Understand Religious Diversity. Religious diversity has long been a sociological reality but remains a theological puzzle – at least for Christians.  This presentation will introduce some common theological techniques Christians have used to explain and engage religious diversity.  It will address such topics as “” No salvation outside the Church”, “Anonymous Christianity”, “Missionary Universalism”  and “Interfaith Dialogue”.\n\n\n$15.00 for optional sandwich lunch.\nConvenor: Suzanne Chapman and Joy Freier OAM\n
