DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 9 June at 10.00am\nLeaders: Roberta Dean and Helen Billman-Jacobe\nSubject: Birds of Character\nRoberta will give a PowerPoint presentation explaining how birds get their colours. This will give artists insight into natural pigmentation, feather structure and light refraction and will aid those drawing or painting birds.\nHelen will lead us through short exercises on sketching the postures of birds to prepare for more detailed works. We will add colour to our sketches to create realistic or fantastical birds using coloured pencils, paint, pastels or mixed media. Bring an H or HB pencil and your colour kit\nAll abilities are welcome. Please book online.\n$15 for an optional sandwich lunch.\n
