Inala will talk about her work and especially her deeply personal book Murrul. In her book Inala shares stories of her family, some of whom have been important public figures. Inala will discuss the role of telling their stories in providing information and new perspectives particularly for new readers. Murrul illustrates the complexities of identifying as Aboriginal and the importance of community in an increasingly individualist world.\n
